This is a great Camcorder! All the way around!

The only reason I didn't give it a full excellent is because it is not and HD Camcorder. If you do go HD on one you loose a lot of zoom. This camcorder is light easy to use and has a flipout screen that is a touchscreen. You have multiple choices of batteries as well depending how long you need to run on battery power. Built-in 80GB Harddrive gives you way more than enough space to record plus you can add even more space with a seperate memory card. The lens is great for still pictures as well! Great camera with great video and sound! A great product for the money!

So far, I love this product. I had a cheap little camcorder that didn't take great pics and the sound was awful. The Sony Handycam is so much better. When I watch videos back on my big screen, it is like actually being there and the sound and zoom are awesome! I got this camera because my 4 yr old was starting soccer which it does great recording his games. I actually copied my sister who has the same camera and also loves it. I haven't gotten into too many details with it, but well worth the price for the product I got!Read full review...

I love it!!!

DCR SR 68

Got it for Chrismas this year and used it on our Cruise trip it is pretty good. Compact and easy to use battery lasts an long time and a lot of memory. Vedio quality is great for the outside but ok for the inside filming. I guess for the price it is good.Read full review...

A brand that you can trust...

I got this for a gift to my wife, as far she love this camcorder. Its small and lite enough to be carry inside her purse. The only thing I might switch to a panasonic one is when you want to take photos with this sony, pictures are little blurr, but anything else this sony does it great and for the price I paid for this SR68. Very good handycam,I took it for my trip of three weeks vacation,very good one ,very simple to use,so small,long life batteries,I like it.
