Review of the Sony DSC-Hx 400V camera
This is an awesome "bridge" camera, that is capable of getting macro to 50X telephoto. It is also good for low light applications. It is light to carry, and makes carrying multiple lenses unnecessary. I almost always use it in the "auto" mode, and have been very happy with the pictures. The only drawback, is that this model is not being made any more, so it is difficult to find one in a used "excellent" condition. They don't last forever. This is the only camera I use, and I'm on my 4th camera of this model. It's great when I just want to point and shoot, and don't care about the settings.Read full review

very disappointed
camera looks brand new except for the area the battery and chip goes into. The door hardly closes. I was waiting to review till after i took about 100 pictures, which is an afternoon for me.i have the exact camera so have something to compare it to.the pictures are not very sharp at all.still messing with some of the settings but doesnt look good.Read full review

Sony DSC-HX400V camera
This Sony camera is simply fantastic. Incredible 50X zoom and many photo options. I used to the equilent Fujifilm S-!, but the Sony is superior in every way. This camera came with a remote shutter release, the Fuji does not and the Sony has a seperate stereo microphne input. FANTASTIC!Read full review
