This Lens Should Always Be In Your Bag
A very versatile lens indeed. Great focal range, weather sealed and image stabilization built in. F/4 helps keep the weight, size and price of the lens down. This is a great travel lens or wedding lens if you pair it with a fast prime like Sony's 50mm 1.2 GM. Great build quality, feels solid. I highly recommend this lens.Read full review...

Nice range, but mediocre resolution
Not all that sharp. Seems well made. Functions well. Pictures are decent, but not much better than the cheaper kit lens, the 28-70mm. The GM is better...even the original GM 24-70mm is better. You get what you pay for. If you thought this would be a bargain...you were fooled.Read full review...

Great travel lens.
Super crispy lens with a lot of useful focal lengths. Large but still reasonable to throw in a backpack. The rings aren't as smooth as my SEL1635G or SEL70300G but it feels much better than a tamron, and OSS is incredible - I can freehand shots down to 1/6s if I'm very steady. Distortion is significant but corrected for in software.Read full review...

Best lens for all-around work.
Great all-around lens for shooting both photography and video. This is the workhorse lens for Sony cameras. If you can only have one lens, this is it.
Great multipurpose lens for most occasions
Great range for 80% of the photos I take when traveling. Heavier than some other lenses, like the 24-70, but I'm willing to carry the extra weight (8 oz.) for the extra focal length.

Excellent all purpose lens
For event shooting, I rarely use a normal zoom, usually I go with a 16-36 and 70-200 2.8’s. I have owned a couple 24-70mm 2.8 GM’a but find this 24-105mm f4 G to be very close optically to the 24-70gm, but much better range when I try to make it with just one lens on an assignment. The facts that it’s smaller and much less expensive are just bonuses!Read full review...

Great lens and you won't be disappointed by the price. Basically a budget GM lens that won't break the bank.
Great lens and it's very sharp. It's wide enough and is good enough for my portrait shots. In all honesty, I keep it wide because I travel quite a bit and it's mostly what I use.
G/G Master Lens are a notch above the other 3rd party lenses I've been using. Read full review...

Wife approved!
This lens paired with an A7R III body can't take bad pictures. I've tried ultra low-light house photos that turn up crisp and beautiful. My wife is impressed with the photos, even though she disapproved of the original purchase.Read full review...

great utility lens
Love this lens. Its a great utility lens for landscape and portrait shots. Fast AF and not too heavy. Only downside is its not great in low light situations but thats obvious seeing it is an F4

My go to lens
Very versatile focal length. Sometimes I miss having the 2.8 aperture.
