The ultimate wide angle real estate, landscape, architectural photography focal lengths are all here in this lens. Perfect performance and form factor. Sony 12-24 F4 is awesome

I’ve been wanting a super wide angle lens for years. I was always a fan of the 17-40L F4 Canon lens and when I switched to Sony, I figured the 16-35 F4 would be the way to go. However with the way cameras crop for image stabilization, you never get to take full advantage of the wide lenses without a gimbal. The 12-24 is the perfect solution. Even cropped it’s still super wide and zoomed into 24mm it actually has decent bokeh. I’m a big fan of this lens. The only thing better would be the 12-24 F2.8.Read full review...

Considerably lighter than I expected. Nice images and comfortable to use

For a super-wide angle lens this is a great zoom range. Was surprised with how light it was and like the images it is providing. Probably the one thing to watch out for is that the big 150mm filters have to be used which will add to extra storage for carry with the lens.Read full review...

Ultra wide, ultra light

Great value for the money (especially used). Sharp, small, and extremely wide. Half the weight of Sigma's 12-24 and Canon's 11-24.

Please note that this lens does not have a filter ring and that you will need a 150mm filter holder with an adapter ring specifically designed for this lens if you plan on using front filters, although there are several drop-in sensor side filter options for Sony FE mount at this time worth exploring if you don't need a polarizer.Read full review...
