O have two of them and love them

I bought this one one Ebay to act as a second camera. I already own one that I bought in November 2014. I have used it on several events and it produces great video and audio.

The only 2 issue I have are: 1. With durability, I know they should not be dropped, but it happens. The older camera I have was subject to a 1.2 - 2 foot fall and it caused it to do a focus seek. I believe it needs a new auto focus unit. I was told that that model has a problem with that issue.

2. White balance accuracy, I set the white balance and on manual, it prompts for setting white balance again. I used two in tandem last week, ( I have to admit the mixed lighting was a challenge) I have to work to make corrections in post.

The bottom line is....It's a great camera except for those two issues. Yes, I would buy another, if I don't upgrade to 4kRead full review...

Great to have HD Cameras like this on this budget.

This is an amazing camera, I use in different professional types of events and works great. Nice wide angle and zoom 20x G Series Lens. Very nice Built quality, someone said "Big enough for people take you serious as a professional videographer and small enough to take anywhere, relatively light weight. Has many professional features that you need, ND Filters, XLR Audio imputs, very nice LCD monitor and viewfinder. Performs pretty well in low light situations, better in manual mode(I adjust my camera on low light situations on 9db gain and 30/s Shutter speed) to reduce noise, resulting video more than satisfactory.
The only coin that I found is the image a little desaturated but is not problem if you works latter and correct it in you editing sofware.
There is so much good stuff to say about this camera. What I can say in only a few words is "Great to have HD Cameras like this on this budget.

Make the move to tapeless, you'll be glad you did!

I finally made the jump to tapeless, and glad I did! I have an FX1 and FX1000 and wanted to increase the speed of my workflow. I love SONY Video products and thought the HDR-AX2000 would be the way to go and I was right. I just used this for a birthday party, just to try it out and it is just what I expected, another fantastic video. I can't wait to try this in the field filming sports this fall. I do need to pick up a couple of 64GB SDXC cards, but using the 32GB SDHC cards I already had worked perfectly. I do need to do a few 'tweeks' on the audio, but the footage looks great! Professional camera without professional price tag

Love this camera. Has a lot of pro features intuitively laid out. Image quality is amazing. My clients take me seriously when I show up at a,shoot, primarily weddings

defective malfuntion

in the beginning work fine, but after recording 10 or 15 minutes, blocking the image, show black screen with message
E:61:30 sound ok but no image, some body know what it is? or how to solve the problem? I turn off camera and turn on several times on, off, on, off, then work again but sometimes are critical moments it may ruin your production.Read full review...

We bought the camera to use in our church during worship services. We have been well pleased as to ease of use and the quality of picture. If we had it to do over again we would buy the same camera.
