Good product for the money..Work great while mowing the yard...

I tried these buds only because they hook behind the ear and needed a set that would stay in while I am riding my chop with my full face helmet...
I must say that they do stay in my ear canals while riding. You need to be careful while putting your helmet on so you dont snag them and yank em out..
Sound quality is "OK"..No base to speak of.. They work...Get what you pay for..They do (for the most part)solve the problem of normal buds pulling out while riding. To bad they didnt have some monster wires to the buds with a little better amp/speaker setup..

A very good set of headphones for this price range.

I have had this particular model of headphone for a few years now (I believe it's been four or five years). I really like the loop behind the ear as you can remove them from your ear without having to take them off your ear. This allows you to easily hear what someone is saying then place the headphone back into your ear. The nature of the headphone means they also act as a mild to moderate noise reducer, making it not as necessary to have the music louder to compensate for background noise. It comes with alternate ear piece sizes and loop sizes so customizing for different ear sizes is easy. The sound is good with clear lows, mids, and highs. The bass is not as powerful as other headphones, but for their size it is very good. This is my third set of these headphones because I've lost and laundered the other sets. Earbuds not well designed

These earbuds were very poorly designed. The Wire without the extension is too short and with the extension is too long. The ear hooks fall off with the potential of losing them. I can understand why they stopped making them.Read full review...

The MDR-AS40EX headphones are hella dope. When I be runnin all crazy doin backflips and all kinds of gravity defying stunts, these bad boys stay hooked right on my ears, pumping the latest jams into my earholes. Oh, and I have an armband that I wear my iPod in...I was like damn, this cord is super long. Oh wait a minute, what's this? Oh, whaddaya know...the cord comes in two sections, allowing me to run with no fear of becoming tangled in bushes and passing afros. Tight. In conclusion, don't go and by those Beats by Dre headphones, they are a ripoff and purchased solely by morons.

headphones are ok

I bought them because they were cheap and I needed some that wouldn't fall out of my ear as I ran. They are refurbished, and the reviews for them were all good. But this pair has one side that doesn't work that well, and the left side that is louder, isn't that loud. And there is no base to them.
