SONY 300 DISC STORAGE PLAYER

The SONY 300 disc storage unit is a great way to keep all my cds safe from damage and "borrows". I never touch the cds and my friends never ask to use them now. I keep all the artwork from the jewel case numbered in a Case Logic cd album for easy location of disc and tracks. The only complaint I may have about the unit would be that it could be simpler to choose a playlist of songs. I have yet to figure out if I can choose songs to play "Jukebox" style. I either just let all the discs play or wait until a song ends to program the next song I wanna hear. All in all I give the unit high praise. Love it.Read full review...

Great Machine. Used, but a great buy at $125 plus frt.

I bought this Sony CX-355 CD player as a backup to the exact same model I use for Karaoke. I had to spend some time clearing the previous owner's settings/programs, but now it works perfectly.

Great idea but do these even work?

I've had two of these and both of them broke on me. The first one started skipping disks after a couple of weeks so I bought another one. That one worked for a couple weeks and then had the same problem. I have one of them in for repair so hopefully they can fix it. I think it's the laser reader that needs to be cleaned. Both of these units I bought used, so its possible that I just had bad luck but I can't say I'd buy another one. Read full review...

I love this great sounding "Music Library Organizer" for CDs.

This works! There are alot of layers of functionality but its simple to use and organize. The more I work with this the easier it gets. It plays nicely with all the rest of my stereo "gear" No hissing or noise, nada. It plays all types of CDs MP3s and other music CDs very well.

At least as well as a CD can be played. I do not have a "Golden Ear" but pressed vinyl records still sound better to me. As long as I have CD's I will keep this player or and equal.

You can spend more money for fancier wors on the sales brochure but side by side this is hard to beat at 300 disc player of this quality of sound for a third the price of a set of Bose headset.

My fear is Sony will stop making this quality of mega player. I would rather keep all my CD's in the machine rather than handle them all the time. I love this thing and for the first time in my life, it is fun to organize and reorganize my music.
I have a yamaha CDC697 5 disc player for the quickies. Once an album is adopted it is assigned a slot in my "Music library".

Now if only Sony will make a machine to play & store my 100's of vinyl 33 1/3 album's!Read full review...

Great CD player

This is my second Sony jukebox and I was so disappointed when they have to many many years my first one broke down. Was not able to find them being made anymore or anything like it and while nervous about buying a used one have been very happy with how well it is running and I am now able to have all of my CDs playing again in groups according to genre.Read full review...

Player with mega benefits

I owned one of these for several years until it died. It is hard to find jukebox like CD players because of all the MP3 type players or music over the cell phone.

I was glad there was one listed on eBay at a good price. I enjoy very much the flexibility of this unit and that it will hold so many CD's. I will be so sad when this unit dies and will probably be unable to find another one then.

Great design if it does what it claims...excited to put the unit to work!

I bought the Sony Mega Storage CDP-CX355 CD Changer to assist in programming the 500+ Cd collection I have accumulated over the years. I thought the CDP-CX355 would be the way to go for me since I love music immensely. So far I haven't had time to work with all of the 300 CD slots; however, with the upcoming holidays I should be able to get everything the way I want it by the first of the year. Beware refurbished units

The long and short is that I had three refurbished units in a row which either wouldn't turn or made horrible noises, so you're better off looking for a changer with little or no use; they're out there. I really got tired of shipping them back and found one locally for $65.00. Only Sony makes this CD Jukebox for hours of Music with multiple Play Lists

This Sony Only product has been around for a while and a great Audio CD Jukebox player it is. Just think, 300 CD's and with multiple Play Lists, and optional Remote Control, you can load up and play various styles and mixes of music for what seems like days! So, when I saw this beauty on eBay at a reduced cost even with Shipping, I went for it and I'm glad I did. If you really want to get crazy with this approach playing your tunes, these babies can be daisey chained for more content. This machine is still supported by Sony and user manuals are available as PDF downloads from their website.
