I love music, this machine gives it to me.

I just love this CD player. This is the 2nd. one I have purchased. The first one I brought 6 years ago. It had had a lot of use because I like to have it on all night long, ever night. I don't have to change the CD's but about every 3-4 months, if then. All my friends think I'm crazy for buying a
CD player that plays 300 CD's. I guess they like taking the CD's out of the cases all the time, and finding the cases that each CD belongs to ever day, I don't. I don't even use the cases any more. I just stack them on spindle's and don't have to open and close all those cases anymore. This is a really great machine to own and the price is right.

Found a replacement for a discontinued model!

This is a discontinued model. I had this exact model for 10+ years and it finally stopped functioning about 9 months ago. I still listen to CDs and since I have almost 300 of them, I needed to find something comparable. This unit works just fine, I already had a remote and key board for this replacement from my original which stopped working, the CD optical drive failed and new replacement from Sony is now a minimum of $123.00 for the optical drive unit used in the CX355 besides labor.Read full review...

Sony 300-Disc Player

I have been looking for a large CD Changer/Player for over a year. The old Pioneer I had for many years was worn out, it only held 5 CDs. The new one allows me to store all my CDs, it has a storage cap. of 300. I can program it and listen to the music I like all day while I am working. Sony had always made a quality product that is why I wanted to buy this one. It's not new but it looks fine for it's age. It is hard to find a CD player with all the new electronics out there. Found a "lost" treasure!!!!

I have an extensive collection of CDs and have been using TWO Sony 300 capacity changers since they came on the market. My oldest one recently bit the dust and I had been looking in vain for a "new in box" CX355 to pair with my present "newer" CX355 which has over 200 CDs in it..

I was very pleased to find this one. It arrived over packed very well in a larger box. As advertised it was indeed factory fresh and unopened.

Now I have the somewhat daunting task of disambling my old unit to remove the 300 CDS and placing them in the newest CX 355 and linking tht two players once again..

Am tempted to purchase the last remaining unit to keep as a spare.

Hopefully, at some point in time, Sony may be persuaded to start up manufacturing of a 300 disk capacity unit once again.Read full review...
