Space Invaders (SNES) is really a great game. I purchased this item for my 7 year old son and he loves it. He and I play it together and we have lots of fun and laughs.

A couple of weeks ago my son asked me, "Hey Mom, what was your first favorite video game?" So I told him Space Invaders. Then he wanted to see what this game actually did, so we went to YouTube and watched. And from that moment on, he wanted us to get this game so he and I could play it together. Arcade like experience

For its time in the early 1990s, the Super Nintendo port of the classic Taito space invaders is actually very good. While simplistic, it is true to the original. Sound effects and graphics are extremely close to the arcade 2978 version. Remember, this is 25 years ago in the days before the actual ROMs were available for faster systems with emulation. Super Nintendo-Space Invaders

I was very excited to find this game that I had long since played. I got to share it with my kids and (for now at least) they love it too. I was excited that E-bay has all of these old games to offer and the shipping is almost nothing! I plan on starting my collection all over again, but at a much reduced price from the original. It was a good purchase, but it was more costly than I anticipated because of the new SNES back label sticker I bought.

The pros are it works and the graphics are good. The cons are while the SNES back label sticker was in relatively decent condition, part of it was outside of the square where the sticker is and as a result, I had to get a new SNES back label sticker to replace the original thus in addition to the original purchase, I had to spend more more money with the replacement SNES back label sticker.

Take me back to the arcade

Bought this for my husband because he used to play this when it first came out in the arcades. Keeps him entertained for hours. Only thing that would be nice would be if you could save the different levels. True to the arcade version though you just have to get better to reach the next level. He said he had to have it (with a big kid smile) so I got it for him. We have since played head to head while the kids watched.
