Highly Praised within the movie industry--
This story revolves around the movie industry-- and if you consider the probable idea of having the Devil as part of the industry, it actually almost makes sense.
It's good versus evil in most stories like this, but in this one "good" takes a nap, and "evil" and "not really good but not really evil" is the opponent. You have a haunted car, someone who may or may not be dead, another who may or may not be human, improbable stretches, impossible timelines, plot holes that could swallow a supertanker-- and if you make through the slow start, it is actually pretty good because of the improbable, impossible, and lacking parts.
If you're not part of the movie industry about a third of the references will go over your head.
If you are part of the industry, you'll catch yourself laughing at things that aren't really funny-- because of the context.
There is a deliberate, overdone setup for a sequel to this sequel. Try not to flinch when you hit it.Read full review...
