If you are a fan of vintage sport car racing....and you enjoy Elvis Presley movies of the 60's, then you are likely to enjoy this vintage film. Much of the racing scenes were filmed in and around Agoura Hills, CA and many of the roads still retain their vintage look. At the very beginning of the movie, Elvis takes a spin off Mulholland Road and into a creek just across from Peter Strauss Ranch/Lake Enchanto, a unit of the National Park Service. The very location can still be seen from Mulholland road. Also, a few seconds of racing was shot at historic Paramount Ranch, another unit of the National Park Service. The scene was filmed at the old Paramount Race Track between Turns 1 and 2 along with a crossing over the race track bridge which was constructed back in 1956. True to color, Elvis sings a few songs while women fall heads over heel for a man who has it all; good looks, a great singer... and a daring sports car driver who wins the race but in twist of fate.... he doesn't win the girl!

I don't care what critics said in the past, Elvis movies are the best entertainment giving only by the King, Elvis. If you haven't seen girls girls girls. Or Clambake. You have not yet lived. The good old days are only what we have left. The rat race continues. So make life simple...enjoy these most excellent films. A cute movie

This is a cute movie with Elvis in the lead. The plot is standard, but has a little extra.
There are actually some great songs in this movie. Listen to songs like "All That I Am" and "Am I Ready", and you can feel the tender Elvis performing love songs that should have received better public notice.
If you're an Elvis fan, you should have this in your collection, if not, buy another Elvis movie like "King Creole" or "Jailhouse Rock".Read full review...

This is an awesome movie. Great soundtrack. You can tell Elvis was changing his style of music. This soundtrack was very upbeat. I have this soundtrack on the original mono on RCA records with the beautiful photo. I also have double CD on the FTD label. I think if your into Elvis then you want to collect his movies.
