The good and the bad....

I loved the original installments of this series. For their time, they were bloody and just plain evil fun. So needless to say I was looking forward to a new iteration. The game is fun, difficult, but fun none the less. Things that annoyed me about this game are the camera, invisible walls and did I say camera? The voice acting is all that terrible and the story seems pretty cool. Nothing really new but still a good idea for the game. I have put in a good bit of hours with alot of dieing. And I mean ALOT! Personally, if this game had dropped at $39.99 it would have been just about worth the pick up. Paying anything more just isnt worth it. If you can get this game for less then $30 and loved the series prior to this, pick it up. Its a gore fest with over the top violence. (Definatly not for kids.) In my opinion, its one of those games that is worth throwing in when you just want to play somthing without getting to overy involved. A good sit down and play for an hour or two game. I cant say it will suck you in to the point you lose track of time. But its a good rainy day with nothing else to play kind of game.Read full review...

Great game. Many hours of entertainment.

Having had played the original versions back in the 80's and 90's, I went in with low expectations. At first I found the controls a bit complicated and exhausting but after about an hour I got used to it. I'm an average game player and usually am pretty good at games. I found this game to be pretty difficult, even on the easy mode. I did enjoy it and still find myself going back to it every so often. I loved all the blood and gore.Read full review...

Cult classic not to be overlooked

This was by far one of the best games to come out of the 360 era. I wish it were forward compatible. This game deserves a remaster.

This is one of my personal favorites, it has my favorite music, blood n gore and an ok story line. One of the cool things about this game is you can play the original three splatterhouse games after unlocking them.
