Great game but need work!!

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a fun PSP game with great graphics and great game play!!! The Planets you are allowed to fight on are as follows:

The game play is good and the weapons are awesome, but there are many less maps than the PS2 counterpart. Overall it gets a 4 out of 5 for graphics, 5 out of 5 for music selection, and a 5 out of 5 for replay value!!! Overall I give it a 4 out of 5!!!Read full review...

Controls take practice, space combat is way hard.

I do like this game. The controls take getting used to for the land battles, but eventually I got there and it was pretty fun. Space battles are crazy hard, on the other hand. SPOILER WARNING....eventually I used the strategy of landing in the opponents flight bay and blowing up as many of their ships as I could, which seemed to make things way easier for my other pilots, and most of the time led to a victory for my side. Trying to dogfight was way too hard, so I never gained enough points for a victory that way. Sometimes it worked out when I went after the vital targets on the big ships, but it was pretty hit or miss.

After a couple of weeks I ended up feeling like I was just doing all the same things over again, so I sold it, but I still have to admit that it was a fun game. I think I'll buy the PS2 version next; if the problems I had aren't in that version it could be one of my favorites.Read full review...

Good game but missing something

I loved this game alot. It was areally fun game especially with the addition of the jedi. The game isnt a real strategic game but it does have some in it. Like commanding squads of soldiers and gaining rank. also I like the vehicles just like the first one. This does beat it out especially on graphics and special effects. Also the addition of space fighting really made the game more interesting. The one thing it is missing is the galactic battles where you try to take other planets. It has a lack of interest because it is really just randomized regular, nothing spectacular battles. It is worth your money and time because the learning curve is only about 20 minutes. It isnt hard to really learn how to use other types of units either or learn how to uae them. It also lacks the ability to use special stuff such as airstrikes or something like that. otherwise it is a good game and fun to play.Read full review...

PSP battlefront 2-(review from my son)

The game came in good condition and works. Did not have breaks,cracks, or scratches that I could see on the case. It came with the manual and the umd (universal media disc). The game is missing some maps from the original but is still fun. It has decent graphics and still has many features from the original including galactic conquest,first and third person, and online multiplayer. I highly recommend this.

Great game, but a little linear

This is one of the best PSP games out there right now. Although the graphics are not as good as on the home consoles and PC, the game is still very fun. The way the controls are made is also great because it takes away the need for the right analog stick. The problem with this game is the space missions. They are the same every single time. The location of the ships, the weapons awailable, everything is the same, which made me want to avoid space missions as much as I could.Read full review...
