Starrett 380-12 12" straight edge.

Straight edge 12" long is perfect for motorcycle head checking. The wide side finish is quite rough, but not a problem. The narrow edge sides are finely ground & proved quite accurate as Starrett tools tend to be. Checking head gasket surface with thin blades of .0005 & .001", place blade on head then straight edge over blade & pull blade only. The prevents wrinkling blades. Very happy with this tool. Tool is often shipped in bubble envelope. Box would be better. Blade comes in paper envelope from Starrett. You need to make your own box. Straight edge is not drilled for hanging.Read full review...

Extremely worth it and highly recommend this for those in need of straight edge.

1st and foremost, I'd like to support American companies especially the ones that make excellent product. We have to go back to the principle of buy once, cry once. Once we understand this, we'll know that we'll never be supporting cheaply made products. Anyways, This straight edge is worn out. However, all that doesn't matter, this tool was delivered and I tested it and it was greater than most if not all other straight edges out there. Starrett rocks.Read full review...
