A book that teaches values, education and good sportsmanship

The book was purchased because it tells the story of a great athlete, Amar'e Stoudemire, who shares the challenges and experiences as he was growing up. I bought it for my grandson who is also a great athlete, even though he is just 9 years old.

We want to instill the values of being not only a great athlete but also a smart, well read, young man. The book captured his interest immediately, taught him lessons of self respect, good sportsmanship and the value of being a good person that is not only focused on sports but also intelligence.
