There are better mics for less money.

My Sterling Audio ST151 lacks in performance. My studio vocals sound muffled, with too much low/low-mid and no crystal-clear high-mids/highs. I can EQ back the lows, but adding in highs, realistically, is impossible. I comparison tested the ST151 to a friend's REAL Neumann U87 AND a Chinese knock-off U87 I got on EBay recently, through the same interface. My $27 Chinese U87 blows the ST151 away. Its lows are a bit weak but its highs are WAY better. I was easily able to EQ in a reasonable U87-like tone. The Chinese U87 has a mid-sized 16mm diaphragm compared to the large 25.4mm diaphragm on the ST151, so diaphragm size isn't everything.Read full review...

Better hurry!

This is a vary good mic for the price! The other guy must of got a bad one. I have three of these and they are all consistent sound wise and all vary good. I have compared them with mics like Cad and Blue's Blue Bottle and sound vary similar. Get one before there all gone!Read full review...
