It's a Great Light, Excellent Quality, with one down side.

It's a good EDC Light and Rechargeable. The Coyote Tan is the "Tactical" model, that uses the High Mode First and the Low Mode on the second push of the button. Other Models are reversed from Low to High. I wanted the High Mode first, because I occasionally carry it when I Concealed Carry. Less fumbling with modes when you need it.
The one negative is the switch. It's rather hard to push. It reminds me of the Streamlight Stylus Pro series. The button requires a significant amount of pressure in a specific type of push of the button to click it on. I got one for my wife to EDC. But she has mild arthritis in her hand and is unable to use the switch. I ended up getting us both the new larger "Macrostream" which has higher lumens and an easier to use flush fit button. I like it better than the Microstream, though it's a little bit larger.
I wish Streamlight would do something with the button on the rear of the Microstream and Stylus. They are great for Dress and low profile carry. Overall, it's a very good light and superior quality, with enough power to out perform other lights twice it's size.

It's ok. Sort of.

If you are a mechanic like me you use a light all the time- and that's where the problem comes in. Many days this light dies before lunch, and then it takes about 2 hours or so to charge. So don't think for a second you can use this all day and just plug it in when you go home. Next, I think the two settings are stupid- one is so bright the light gets hot in your hand in about 30 seconds and the other setting is so dim it's useless. If they just used the one setting thats in between like the regular battery powered one it would be perfect and not drain the battery so fast. Not the best choice if you use it frequently every day. Works well except for the hard time pressing the button

The button is a little hard to press since it’s very firm rubber and has a tiny button in the center of it. Over all it works as advertised and is super bright for its size, the quality is good. I’d get one slightly bigger next time, I trust the brand now Read full review...

Coyote Streamlight micro stream

Absolutely LOVE IT!! Use it a little over a week now and never leave home without it!! The coyote one lights up on the HIGH side first which is crazy bright for an edc pocket light!! Now on the other hand switching it over to dim is very tricky and I still haven’t gotten completely used to it. And in emergency I want bright and non emergency I can take my time about finding low and it’s a good thing bc it takes me a second with this light and the coyote colored one is the only microstream that lights up on bight first so I’d highly recommend that one for that reason and it’s easy on the eyes as well. It’s very small and lightweight never know it’s in your pocket! The belt clip with the reversed clip for a bill of a baseball cap has sure came in handy a few times as well!! The rechargeable part is my favorite part lol and if you haven’t watched the torture test on YouTube then you need to!, you’ll definitely buy then! Keep in mind this is a pocket light and 250 lumens not a spot light and I’m going to say if I were camping and I had to drawl on a charging bear you would have a 30-40 yard advantage of a huge spot! Love the spot! If that doesn’t impress you then please comment where I can find a better one this small for this amount of money. I also have my 500 and 1500 lumen bushnells and they are extremely bright but neither would work out in my pocket all day so the Streamlight has came in handy several times although I keep a larger bushnell close when I can. Overall I think everyone should own at least one of these if not two!! Highly recommend
Oh and by the way the pictures does the light no justice and I’m sure I’m forgetting a lot more good stuff so go to YouTube and check torture test out

Light and Compact!

Great design! Very light and compact. I use it for EDC but I'm not sure I would use it for more intense duty type carry. It could use a charge indicator because it can be bright as the sun one second and dead the next without warning. Overall 4.999999/5 stars though.Read full review...

Just buy one for yourself or give as a gift. You can't go wrong with these.

I bring this little flashlight everywhere I go. It fits perfect in that watch pocket your jeans have. I use it everyday, I'm a network tech. I use it at night when I walk my dog. I use it as my EDC flashlight. This light is so good, I bought a 2nd one, the tan one. I'll toss it on the charger once a week if it needs to be recharged or not. Normally it does not, I just like to have it topped off. Streamlight makes some really good quality lights. I have dropped my old one many of times. Still lights up. I just wanted a new one. I'll give the old one to my wife to throw in her purse.Read full review...

A good little light at a great price

I've owned several of these lights over the years; they're a great piece of hardware. Two power settings (the coyote brown/tan lights start on high power and a second push of the button gives you a lower power setting, most of the other colors of this light are the opposite of this). I use them for my around-the-campsite light. They are small, lightweight, and durable, and usb recharging is a big plus. The clip on the light will hold it securely in a pocket or allow you to attach it to the bill of a hat. As a mechanic, I see these lights on the various tool trucks that visit our shop each week, and they typically cost about 45 to 50 dollars. That said, they are a much better deal here. If you're looking for a small, lightweight light, you can't go wrong if you choose this one.Read full review...

Best EDC flashlight for the money.

Awesome little light! And bright too! Great EDC flashlight. Its rechargeable, It’s the perfect size for your front pocket. I would highly recommend this light. I just bought two more, one for my wife, and one to keep in my laptop backpack. Get the Coyote Brown, it comes on in the bright function. The other colors automatically come on in the dim mode.Read full review...

Best edc light period.

Love the coyote brown/bronze color on this one. Had two of the black models and lost them both. Word of warning: the pocket clip can get hung up on your seatbelt and bent outward, then flung out into the darkness like an arrow from a bow. Happened twice, didn’t realize it until I’d driven home.
So... don’t know why I still buy these things one at a time... the Olight i3t is a great competitive light but this is the perfect size, it’s brighter, and the rechargeable feature takes the cake.

100% satisfied with Streamlight as always!!!

This micro light is the best EDC flashlight I’ve ever used. Durable, very bright, and extremely lightweight and easy to carry whether in your pocket or around your neck with the lanyard it came with. And the rechargeable battery last 1.5 hours, lasts longer if you don’t have it on constantly more than 1.5 hours. Definitely buying a couple more of these.Read full review...

Best pocket EDC light

I've owned several pocket EDC lights but this one by far has the best features and is the brightest one I've owned at 250 lumens, and the usb recharge port is so convenient! I would recommend the brown one "coyote" as it comes preprogramed with with bright setting first and dim setting second, the black is reversed.Read full review...
