My colleagues all have Streamlight Stingers and this light’s entire beam is a little brighter than the hotspot on the Stinger. It’s great for lighting up entire rooms/buildings due to the sheer amount of light. My only two complaints are that you have to take the batteries out to charge it and the rubberized handle makes it hard to pull out of/put back into a nylon flashlight holster for a duty belt.Read full review...

Great light from a great company.
Extremely bright and durable. Nice protective covering on the body. Sends a wide and powerful beam a long distance. After buying three products from Streamlight, I realize that they are one of only a few companies that is honest about their specificatons, specifically the lumen output. I will definitely buy from them again.

Shines bright and far. Seem really durable. A bit heavy and how you charge it is a bit annoying, you have to remove the rechargeable batteries (2) and they have a mini USB port on each of them that you have to plug the cable into. Great flashlight, only one fault.
I have a Nebo 2000 lumen flashlight and wanted to upgrade to a brighter one. I did a lot of research before I choose this one. The light has great lumen output, a decent 115 minute runtime on high and isn't too big I really liked that the rechargeable batteries are removable from the light. You can switch them out when another set is charging. Also if they go bad. You don't have to throw away the whole light. Like some of the Nebo rechargeable lights. it also can run on CR123 batteries. Although the lumen out put is diminished (Down from 3500 to 2000 lumens). It's still nice to have that option.
One thing that I don't like and think is a big miss for a light in this price point. The beam is not adjustable. It does throw out a good pattern, but I would like to have the option to adjust it. Also do yourself a favor and buy a set of upgraded 3600 mAh batteries. You will get longer run time and have an extra set to switch out.

It may need a custom holster, plastic preferably and use a bit of wax, as rubber handle lining will make it a bit of a task to unholster quickly.
