Does not fit 2004 Subaru Impreza

The ball joint would not seat into the socket no matter how hard I banged on it. The shape of the ball joint and material differ from the oem. This ball joint seems to be maybe just a millimeter bigger but the real issue seems to be over all shape and material. The rounded top is too wide and has hard edges and the material is not plyable enough to give enough room to smash it in. Oem is smoother at the top and the material is softer to allow it to conform to the ball socket. Took 10 good wacks with the hammer to seat it while the Detroit ball joint would not budge no matter how hard I hit it.
