Awesome RENDITION

The dark, morbid duo, (Depp/Burton) do it again with an excellent rendition of musical to movie. Burton keeping it close to it's roots, and Depp a surprisingly good Sweeney Todd, considering he's never sung before. Too bad there were not that many extra's, it would have been great to see the auditions of the actors/actress for the part. Definitely recommend for those that were fans of the musical or Depp's/Burton's work.Read full review...

Very interesting movie. I decided to see it after watching the spoof of it on Alton Brown's Good Eats. A lot of the cast from Harry Potter are there, and several of the same one's are in The King's Speech. Does England have so few good actors that they have to keep reusing all of them? The special effects (mainly lots of blood) could have been better, but the movie is a musical, so it's not realistic anyway.Read full review...

I LOVE Johnny Depp and when I heard people talking about what a horrible movie this was I didn't believe it. I watched it for myself and now know why they many do not like it. It is very musical. Who knew JD could sing?! If you don't like musicals/theater I don't think you would like this.I think it was great movie!
