Gor this for my 2 yr old grandson.
He is still a little young, but loves to carry it as he dances. Probably won't last till next Christmas with the rough handling, but worth what I paid. I just wish it let us know ahead of time that it can run on 6 D batteries if you don't want to plug It in.Read full review...

garbage cd player does not work
Received plugged in turned on radio sound ok its for a 3year old so no biggie. Went and got cd she loves switched to cd put cd in it spun for a bit with display flashing then stops spinning and no shows up in display. It has done that with every cd. What a hunk of garbage I bought wanting a cd player not radio or MP3 speakers. What a huge disappointment. Save your money get something else.

Nice compact unit with good sound.
Remember, this is a portable unit so don't expect it to perform or sound as well as a component stereo system. But for it's size it sounds good. I like it because it can be powered by electric or battery. I like to use it in my garage while I am working on my car or lawn equipment. It has a radio and I am pretty close to stations and it seems to work well but it doesn't have an external antenna so not sure what range will be.
