Great value if you don't like using computers
Very impressed with the layout and operation of this piece. Records clean, is easy to use, and you can spend more time on music than trying to figure out programs. The files are fairly easy to transfer back and forth to a computer if you still would prefer to mix down or master on one. The internal components are fine to do this however, and you can have a fine mastered product right out of the recorder. I purchased David Wills DVD for this and it quickly answered any questions I had, but out of the box it is fairly easy to operate. The only surprise I had is there is no automation on it and all adjustments during mix down or mastering like level or tone adjustments you will need to do in real time. Having a Korg unit previous to this I was surprised but it really didn't affect me as much as I thought it would. Great for the price though.Read full review...
