It worked for me...a very good purchase.
My router is on one side of the house on the first floor, and I needed to strengthen the signal for two TVs on the other side of the house 50' away (one on the first floor and one on the second floor). The extender worked great. I placed it on the other end of the house on the second floor, and it boosted both TVs signals (first floor from fair-good to excellent and second floor from fair to excellent) and the speeds doubled as well.
