Love it! Great Lens for just about everything.
Wasn’t sure after reading and listening to reviews of this lens but it’s perfect for my work. It’s sharp, great contrast and color rendition. I bought another Tamron lens because of this one.

Outstanding lens (deserves 6 starts!!!) but dream can turn nightmare - INCOMPATIBLE WITH SEVERAL DSLR AND mirrorless CANON BODIES!!!! watch out!
This is a truly amazing and exceptional lens! Despite the huge size and heft, it felt absolutely right on both my DSLR and mirrorless bodies. Best feeling for any lens I had on both bodies, period!!!<br>Got this lens after researching heavily for AN ENTIRE YEAR TO FIND THE PERFECT 35mm LENS. Countless YT reviews, and many more articles and browsed through thousands of photos made with this lens. AND THIS IS IT! The 35mm lens that has the most amazing tone, color, SOUL, yet at the same time RAZOR SHARP. A true unicorn lens, as we seem to have a division - either soulless and sharp, or gorgeous tone but no details. And I would give it 6 stars out of 5!
HOWEVER. What NO online or YouTube review told me, and was not made evident was that this lens is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH A BUNCH OF CANON BODIES! As it turned out it was not compatible with EITHER of my Canon camera bodies - neither the DSLR nor the mirrorless! The incompatibility showed up as that lens connecting, aperture changing instantly, but the focal plane was locked at around 40cm. Around that plane the lens could micro adjust focus and take AMAZING photos, which were tack sharp even at F1.4. At F1.4 even zoomed to 300% I can see barely ANY PIXELATION!!! Truly amazingly outstanding!
It would not move past that focal plane neither in AF nor in MF. And nobody could tell me what was going on, until I contacted Tamron service, and they told me the lens was incompatible with BOTH my Canon bodies. I had to return the lens today..... what a crying shame. Read full review...
