Excellent lens!

I'd been researching lenses similar to this one for quite awhile. Finally decided on this lens, and I'm glad I did! I've had it for about a month now and am loving it. The pictures are very sharp and the colors are great. It focuses quickly. The only thing I'm not fond of is the noise, as it is louder than my other lenses. For wedding ceremonies, I will probably manually focus, but otherwise the noise isn't a bother. I definately recommend this lens!Read full review...

Excellent upgrade to the kit lens.

It's an excellent lens. A lot cheaper than the Canon equivalent lens and the pictures are really sharp. It's excellent for those who want to upgrade their kit lens. Although it lacks stabilization, for the price is ok. I really like the fact that this lens includes its own hood. Probably its quality it's not as good as a more expensive lens, but it's a big upgrade to the kit lens.Read full review...

this lens is very good, this lens is very good, I recommend it to other photographers.has good size, is lightweight, practical and great value. the only problem is that the focus is noisy and a bit slow approach but only a little, the truth does not make much difference. I'm happy with my purchase.

Sharp, easy-to-use, quick focus!

Bought a lens to shoot a wedding. Indeed, a good lens focuses quickly, constant 2.8 aperture do his. You can shoot movies Pictures. I advise all. Sharp and easy to use! For such money is the best!

Definetily the next step coming from a basic kit

I bought this lens to replace my basic 18-55.

My first impression was it weight and size was really a more professional look.
