Sherlock Holmes-Terror by Night IN COLOR

This thriller is in color; a nice upgrade from the original 1946 version in black and white. This is a good who-done-it for its time, and the stars are none other than Basil Rathbone as Sherlock, and Nigel Bruce as Dr. Watson. They are argueably the best pair to play the master sluth and his trustworthy companion. They are on a train bound from London to Edinburgh, Scotland. They are to guard a fantastic jewel, but there are murders that get in the way. This is a great film to watch with the family, as younger members won't be turned off by a black and white "oldie", but can watch it in color. A nice choice for a mystery suited for family viewing and only runs 68 minutes.Read full review...
