I like this calculator and the price and all, but sometimes the thing won't turn on even with the batteries in there. The calculator has almost no scratches, the screen displays all pixels, comes with everything, no engravings, and no wear on the buttons, all for $6. I could not recommend this anymore.

The 81, the most straight forward grapher
The 81 is great for your student who is getting their first graphing calc. It is also good for more advanced functions as well. It is simple to use, more straight forward than any other I have used. As I mentioned, it will get you through your trig and basic calculus. There are other more advanced models if you are going further into the sciences - though this one will work - if you take it that far with the 81, it surely will - because you can make it work.
If you want the expanded stats/chemistry/etc functions - you will need a little higher model, though if you know your way around the 81, you should be ok.Read full review...

I had hoped I could repair this calculator. I cannot find the problem with it. I've had great success repairing broken TI calculators in the past, but this one has got the best of me. I can only assume at this point that the chips has suffered some strong electrostatic discharge. There is no evidence of any other damage at all. Regardless, I'm satisfied with my purchase. The body and housing of this calculator is in perfect condition. I can find a working model in poor condition and refurbish it using components of this calculator.Read full review...

Wonderful calculator. Very common developing instrument. very formal. i cant add all the descriptions I purchased the device for. However, it examines all th e grounds a human eye-retina cannot exam in boleen details. like the def.se btwn rays and examing scalors ..a scalor would be smaller to figure that 3.14 figure give a direction to maintain a small circumferense to detain such astronimical scan to value.. thanks.Read full review...
