This book is written in unique format for an eBay book, the author was liquidating her granmothers estate, which started even before Cheryl Leaf, the authors grandmother passed away. If you are a grown man and a fan of eBay, I guarantee you will be in tears before the end of the book. Lynn Dralle has managed to feature one seller, the most important seller in her life.

Lynne takes us from her grandmothers days of old, to modern day eBay via herself and childhood. The items showcased in the book are merely an interesting backdrop for the true store of a girls love for eBay and her grandmother. You can learn allot from the items sold and showcased in the book, always interesting!

Great -an inspiration when you start getting TIRED!

I purchased this book after having stumbled across the second in the series, which is very similar to this one. If you've sold on ebay for very long, then you know that there are times when you might go through a stretch where things aren't selling, or you're selling too many items at your opening bid, or your sources for new merchandise seem to hit a dry spell - and your feet hurt from running from place to place - it can be downright discouraging and you wonder if it's even worth the few dollars! That's where I was when I first read this book - and her stories about what she'd sold, and where it was from, really inspired me to get back out there - to get excited about looking for merchandise and listing again. Not only that, she's got lots of the good tips that we all know and then ignore, sprinkled throughout, not to mention some great ideas about how a business should be run (thanks to her grandmother); what kinds of profit margins to consider striving for (helps you walk away from the little time wasters), and ideas for things to look for outside your normal inventory specialty. If you want a fun, inspiring read that will energize you about selling online, then this is for you! Lynn dralle has inspired me with my ebay business in a way I never knew before.
Lynn's stories were all filled with wonderful information on her items and about auction sucess. Lynn you have helped me so much and I just can't thank you enough for what you have done for me and keep doing.
All ebayers should read lynn's 100 best books and her other stories that she has out there because they are easy to understand and also a fun and joyful read that you will never want to stop reading her books each day!

you can actually learn from this book

This book goes through saying the items she sold on ebay. It gives the date listed how many bids, the discription she wrote, what the opening price was what is sold for, and where it went. Then on the adjoining page it gives a story on how she found the item and a little snip about her grandmother. Her grand mother was an antiques dealer and knew a ton about it! Some way or antoher she incredibly puts her grandmother somehow into her story about the auction. She is quite a genius. And I have to say I have all her books and I have learned a TON. Just by reading these books you can learn what sells what doesn't and what to look for at those great and amazing garage sales. Very Very good book and I highly recommend it!Read full review...

Lynn Dralle The Queen of Auctions writes a very good book made up of stories of her first 100 best things she's sold on ebay. This book has been such a success she's written a second and is working on her third. the book is written so that you can read a story or two at a time.
