An excellent reading for both preteen and teens as well as parents!!

I used this book in conjunction with The 7 Habits Workbook for my teenage son. This book is very well written. Contains numerous graphics to help the preteen and teen understand the topic. Each habit or something that the teen will come across sometime in their life is written so that it is humorous but easy to understand. This book gives assignments for the workbook based upon the chapter you are reading.

Sean Covey has a talent with teens, just like his father does with adults.

This book is a great guide

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens is a great book to read, not only for just teens, but some of the ideas presented in this book also apply to adults. The great thing though is Covey doesn't go outright and say "you must do this". The book is more written through examples and shows different angles that you can look at a situation, and thereby see the best course of action.

A great thing also is that this book is really simple to read. There are multiple pictures, and charts, and the language is easy to understand. Anyone can really enjoy this book without being bored.Read full review...

My son loves it

I purchased this book and workbook for my teenage son. He loves it. I use this as a parenting tool. I regularly ask him, does your red book say anything about this situation? He instantly remembers or hl goes to check and updates me. He referenced it himself when a circumstance occurred. The gift of love

Sometimes you have to think about others. I purchased this book to give to a troubled teen. Falling into the wicked lifestyle of drugs, alcohol, and improper behavior, this teen needs all the love he can get. Anger fills his life and his parents are having a great deal of trouble dealing with him. He needs guidance in every way possible. Creating the correct goals and habits could help turn his life around. If you have a teen, you need this book. It helps teens and parents to see why the teen years are so difficult. There is a better way to live your 13-19 years than what's currently out there.
