I bought it for a class in college. The book is pretty interesting and easy to read. It addresses the moral issue of medical paternalism and does a good job in showing how it affects us as patients.

The Anatomy of Hope

I bought this book because it was required for nursing school. I read this book from cover to cover, non-stop, because it was so good!! Groopman writes well and is an excellent story teller; the accounts he tells of his patients are fascinating.Read full review...
