One of Bogie's best!

The Barefoot Contessa is a favorite film of mine. One of the better color pictures featuring Humphrey Bogart and Ava Garner. The plot is explosive and the first time I saw it, it really stunned me. Just never saw that coming. The set is fascinating and the characters are memorable. One of Bogie's finest, and I've seen most of his major films. Great Classic and one of Bogarts lasts

In this movie The Barefoot Contessa - not to be confused with the food expert with the tv show of the same name, this movie Humphrey Bogart plays a director who helps a dancer (Ava Gardner) become famous. They both become very close friends until Maria (Ava Gardner) gets very greedy with Hollywood. She falls in love with moves into her own self destruction.
