The BEST OF HE-MAN~BRINGING BACK GOOD MEMORIES

THESE ARE OF THE ORIGINAL HE~MAN BACK IN THE 80's MY SON'S, NEPHEWS, AND MOST OF THE BOYS THAT WERE LITTLE IN THE 80's ALL WOULD HOLD STICKS UP AND THEY ALL WOULD "HAVE THE POWER". I RECENTLY WAS PLAYING WITH MY GRANDSON IN THE YARD STANDING ON TREE STUMPS HOLDING STICKS UP AND I STARTED SAYING "I HAVE THE POWER" MY 2 YEAR OLD GRANDSON DID THE SAME AS ME-MAW SAYING "POWER". HE HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT, BUT IT WAS ADORABLE. SO, I DECIDED TO BUY THE 10 BEST EPISODES FOR MY GRANDSONS 2nd BIRTHDAY, JUST TO SEE IF HE WOULD LIKE THE CARTOON. I GOT IT AND POPPED IT IN AND BOTH MY BOYS (25 AND 27) BECAME GLUED TO THE T.V. ALONG WITH MY GRANDSON AND GRANDDAUGHTERS. HE WATCHED ONE EPISODE, AND HAS HAD THE POWER EVERY SINCE, ALONG WITH HIS 4 YEAR OLD SISTER. I DECIDED TO GET THE WHOLE SERIES WHEN I GET THE FUNDING, SO THEY CAN SEE THE WHOLE STORY. IT WAS WELL WORTH THE MONEY, I PAID FOR IT, JUST TO SEE IF HE WOULD LIKE IT. MY GRANDSON NOW WALKS AROUND WITH HIS POP~POP'S BACK SCRATCHER HOLDING IN THE AIR SAYING "HAVE POWER". Wonderful!

He-man was one of the best cartoons of the 80's and comparing it with cartoons from the 80's 'till now, I still say that it's at the top. Obviously, as a girl I was more into She-Ra but He-man was no different. The stories, morals and characters were great. This DVD collection is a perfect addition to the collection I am starting to make, next to all the He-man series and the She-Ra series I will buy. It also brings back wonderful memories of my childhood when my cousins used to come home and we would all watch cartoons together. Also wonderful DVD extras!Read full review...

He-Man rocked when I was a kid and he still rocks today

Man, I watched He-Man all the time as a kid and had alot of the toys too. 25 years later now I have an 8 year old. So I got it for hem. He jumed up and down just looking at the box set cover, "witch is awsome". I mean high gloss inserts and trading cards They went all out. Then just heiring that old theme song took me back, and my boy is still humming it. And the shows they picked as the top 10 were all good ones. We watch both disks in 1 sit down. After it was all over he asked is there more? I responded I hope so? So, If you liked He-Man as a kid? Get this, it will make you smile. Only for He-Man Collectors

When this was first released, the individual volumes/seasons were not out...so it made this a reasonable purchase. With the releases of the 6-disc volumes of the seasons, this item became obsolete. While you can get this cheap, there's no point - all these episodes are already in the 6-disc sets and you'll get the other episodes as well. I would only suggest that collectors of He-Man or vintage cartoon lovers purchase this. Someone who just wants to watch He-Man should stick with the seasons being released. The set does come with some bonus features which are special to this disc, as well as some collector's cards. So serious He-Man fans and collectors, sure, get it. If you're just looking to watch He-Man because you enjoyed it as a kid, I suggest you just get those box sets.Read full review...

BY THE POWER OF GREATDVD!!!!

This compilation of He-mans greatest episodes varies from individual to individual.For me,it containes some of my favorite episodes from the show but not all,but I can live with that.Evil seed,teelas quest and others appear in this dvd and to me I was satisfied with this product.If you want better I recommend you buy the He-man seasons dvd but if all you want is a taste of what this great show had to offer and a little nostalgia then this dvd is just for you.THIS DVD HAS THE POWERRRRRRRR!!!!ENJOY THIS REVIEW!!!Read full review...

He-Man is classic!

What's not to love? This DVD has 10 great classic He-Man cartoons on it. Brings back fond memories! The cartoons were action packed but always suitable for children especially as each is kind of like a fable. There is a moral to every cartoon disclosed at the end. Good Stuff! Classic

I took a chance that with my six year old's love for superheroes like Superman, Green Lantern and Spiderman, that we would get a kick out of watching He-Man. Am I glad that I took that chance.
For a straight month, this DVD was in regular rotation. And imagine my delight at hearing my little guy quoting dialogue, holding out his imaginary sword and saying, "By The Power of Grayskull ... I-Have-The-Poweerrrr!!!"

Daddy Hall's Experience

Reason I got He-Man was I watched it when I was young many moons ago. I am now 36 and my little boy just turn 4. I thought how cool I can show him what daddy watch when he grew up. We got it in the mail, and watched it and just as I thought, he loved it. His smile is worth it. He is daddy's boy.
