A Well Made, Modernized Version of an Old Classic.

As the title implies, this is mainly another cinematic visualization depicting how certain crucial choices one makes early on in one's lifetime can produce regrettably unavoidable consequences. Naturally, it's more contemporary in depiction of social situations, with regard to subject matter, language and nudity. Having the two versions (theatrical & director's) gives the viewer two possible outcomes, resulting from having made one of two choices at that one particular moment, later in life deemed the most crucial "fork in the road", of the protagonist's young life. (In a way, it's sad, I suppose, that the classic "It's a Wonderful Life" has just gotten too outdated to hold the interest of most younger moviegoers.)Read full review...
