My second Bukowski

Only recently have I become a fan of Bukoski, but would have much earlier in life had I read him earlier. I love his writing style, his won't-take-crap-from-anybody attitude. His stance toward the watered down styles of music and writing that we are surrounded by on a minute-by-minute basis. I finished my first Bukowski recently, Ham on Rye, which is a beautifully written book about his childhood and young adult life. As soon as I finished that book I oredered this one, and was just as pleased with his crotchety, old man approach to all things and all people. Wine does get better with age. Well, so does Bukowski. The C. is out to lunch is autobiographical and very good. Almost as good as that ice cream sundae you keep dreaming of.
