The best book for understanding how and why they work

As reviews have stated, David Stewart's book really does make understanding the powers of essential oils an enjoyable experience. I am not a technical person but found his explainations fairly easy to understand. I also gained much insight into the experiences I have had using essential oils (why some worked and some did not) and found many new ideas for ways that I can utilize the oils better.

I wish I had read this book years ago when I first started using essential oils. It not only would have saved me a lot of money in ruined recipes, I would not have risked my health using cheap and low quality oils that probably contained some pretty dangerous chemicals.

This book has enlightened me in so many ways and has made a difference in how I will be selecting the oils I buy and how I combine them.

Review of Chemistry of Essential Oils

While I am not someone who evens likes chemistry I have found this book to be a very interesting read. Needless to say I love the book and would highly recommend it.

Excellant statement of faith

I bought this book as a Christmas present for my son. His bachelor's degree is in biochemistry and he is somewhat agnostic. After it arrived, I browsed through it and was very impressed. Even though my son has little interest in essential oils, I keep praying that he will read the sections David Stewart writes about science and faith.Read full review...

Great chemistry book on essential oils.

Great book that clearly and simply explains the interesting chemistry of essential oils which in turn helps us understand how and why essential oils can be great remedies for what ails us.
