My 2 girls are only 2 & newly 4. They recently watched this movie & while I had some reservations (I remember watching it as a kid, though not quite that young but couldn't remember any awful thing to shield them from), I never anticipated it would make such a positive impact. They absolutely love it!!! They totally get the simple aspects of the symbolism & it creates a great opportunity for dialogue about good vs. bad in general, among other issues.
