Superior movie with Character!

This is a movie about a boy coming of age; but it is good! Zac Efron plays the boy. He befriends Bill Cobbs, an older loner who drinks. The movie is a wholesome, sound movie that speaks to one's character and patience and love for others. I highly recommend this movie. It comes with a good message and a great story. Could have had more substance. Those two rich brats were never taught a lesson in respect for others, elders, or property. That part of story was left undone. I did like the story line with teenage boy and the elder African American. I like any horse movies and my husband thought this might be a good movie which it was. I got bored with the old man talking all the time tho. The DVD we got was not a good one and about 45 min. into was blank so we only saw the last 20 minutes of the movie. The ending was kind of sad so I was not to thrilled it.Read full review...

He is growing up

A good family movie. Love anything with Zac Efron. Such a handsome and talented young man. My kids just loved the movie. It's nice to have a wholesome movie for them to watch.
