Aptly titled book. Goes along with the story line well
I was immediatly drawn in to the story by the author. Descriptive but not drawn out. The author leaves some things to the imagination. The story twists on itself from what it was in the beginning and leaves you with the sense of "Whoa! I thought I saw that coming but I didn't think it would actually happen!" I have been collecting the Realms novels for 10 years and this one of the best I read in a long time. I would definatly rank it among authors such as R.A. Salvator, Troy Denning and Elaine Cunningham. I does have a dark romantic side to it I found reminescint of Anne Rice novels but it was far less drawn out. The inner dialog of the characters is top notch!!!
This book could read and enjoyed by a first timer to the realms or and old sage such as myself. Set in the area of Tethyr near the Sword Coast. The main characters go through a malstorm of emotions and trials. Action and romance. Intrigue and betrayal. True love and canal desires. Twists and turns at every new chapter. A good read. Kudos to Jess Lebow!!Read full review...
The Fighters a must read books.
All of the content of the Fighter series are good. Each of the different authors are excellent writers and know how to hold one's attention. These books are defiantly a good value for the price that I paid for them. I highly recommend these books to anyone who likes adventure.
