Film scores very hard to find.
THE FOG was one of my favorite movies when I was growing up. As a child at the age of 10 when it first came out, I thought this film was scary. The music helped with the dark and spooky atmosphere. If you are a fan of John Carpenter then I would assume you also like his other films and soundtracks.
Film soundtracks it seems are very hard to find and this was no exception. Sure, there are ones you can locate but it seems that horror film CDs in particular are the most elusive.
I was glad to have found THE FOG for a good, reasonable price. Lots of times I would see it online for no less than 50 dollars. Ridiculous. I bought mine for the price of a new CD but got a used one which is fine. The disc was practically brand new anyway. No flaws.
If you are a fan of horror/sci-fi movie scores then this is for you. Maybe you like to put on a haunted house during Halloween. This CD would enhance that situation greatly because of it's evil and doomy sounding feel.Read full review...
soundtrack from the original fog movie
I do not really have much to write as a review for this soundtrack cd. it is the soundtrack for the fog from john carpenter and not the crappy remake. the main theme to me is a good song and is enjoyable to listen to. the rest of the cd has other songs from the movie. if you like the movie and the music then you will like this cd. the cd has an interview with Jamie lee Curtis at the end. if you have no idea Jamie was one of the main stars in the movie.Read full review...
