Good Roman Polanski Suspense Movie

Ewan McGregor stars as British screenwriter "The Ghost" who is hired to write the memories of the British Prime Minister (Pierce Brosnan) after the original ghost writer dies in a freak accident. McGregor soon discovers there is more going on here than people are letting on and become trapped in the scandal that is following the Prime Minister. He soon discovers that the previous writer's accident may not have been an accident at all and that his own life may be at risk.

The movie is directed by Roman Polanski and it is typical of his work. The movie is a bit slow but it is very easy to follow, there are a few twists and turns that are not expected.

The movie also stars: Kim Cattrall, Olivia Williams, and Tom Wilkinson

Enjoyable story line but the ending could have been more developed.

Ghost Writer DVD widescreen

I decided to purchase this movie because of the great deal that I found on ebay, for a new sealed DVD copy. I was drawn into the plot and kept trying to figure out what was happening, and who was responsible. The ending was a shocking suprise. It was a great thriller to watch.Read full review...
