if you watch this then you must buy the other two in the series.

originally bought the three books which i enjoyed very much. however once the dvds were released i had the choice of buying the original versions or the newer english version. i do not mind subtitles so i opted to buy all three dvds in original text.these dvds were very good , but not has good as the books (something which usual happens with books to films).
still worth watching and you must watch all three to appreciate the complete story.Read full review...

Well worth viewing. Don't miss out.

This film lived up to my high expectations which were based on hearsay and other reviews. I had not read the novel. I was expecting to have to cope with sub-titles, but this wasn't necessary. In spite of the early blatant and deviant sexual scenes (which makes one sympathetic towards the main female character) the film is very watchable. I shall certainly make efforts to acquire the others in this series.Read full review...

Awesome Film.Highly Recomended.

I have read all three books in this series and loved them.I might add all three were bought on good old eBay!
I then decided I would try one on DVD against my better judgment because films are never as good as the books?
I was wrong! This is an excellent film,edge of the seat thriller with a supberb cast.A must for lovers of Swedish
films.I will now be on the look out for series two and three.Cant wait!!Read full review...

Brilliant gripping film

Certainly on of the best and gripping films i have ever seen. Watched it twice just because it was so good.
Very adult content and really worth watching for both guys and gals!

Outstanding,never a dull moment,dont miss this superb film.

This is the most enjoyable film I have seen in years,cracking pace from start till very last second.Liked it so much I have purchased the other two films in the triogy.

I don't like to compare, just I liked it, the production, the actors and the story and I would recommend it to anyone -

Good condition product arrived quickly

The original Swedish version of the first part of the "millenium trilogy". Read the book first as so much is lost in characterisation but the visuals of the Swedish backwaters make it worth a look of the dvd.Read full review...

Close to book story line, very good.

Very watchable, keeps pretty close to the book which I had read before seeing the film (I think the best order of doing it)- so recommended.

Excellent storyline

A thoroughly enjoyable film - not as comprehensive as the book.
Subsequently bought the other 2 films in the trilogy
