More Camp than gore

Not a good movie at all. I think its trying to be a sort of gory take off of the old The Thin Man movies. Especially the lead male character playing a private eye carrying around a walking stick trying to playup William Powell original loveable character. As for the female lead, she was no Myrna Loy and let's leave it at that. The gore is so phony and not believable.Read full review...

A superb murder mystery with a cast of misfits in 1970s LA!

I was not expecting a brand new item, rather one just fresh from the market. Since I had wanted to find more work from H.Gordon Lewis, I was especially pleased to see this title become available. Relatively few actual new items are available from Amazon.

This is a detective story with an unusual sleuth investigating a rash of killings of exotic dancers in LA. A concoction is made by one special club the girls are employed by. A guest appearance by Henny Youngman gives special spice to the film etc.Read full review...
