Absolutely magical children's film - a great gift!

This is the absolutely charming sequel to The Gruffalo, a 2011 Academy Award Nominee for Best Short Film. Based on popular and beloved children's books in the UK, both films are delightful and beautifully animated and suitable for all ages. Our two year old great granddaughter loves these magical and clever stories and so do we. Since buying a set of these movies for our first great granddaughter, we have now bought a set for ourselves, our second great granddaughter, and a friend and fellow grandparent. We have recommended both films to friends and strangers alike. The Gruffalo's Child is an uncommon find in stores which carry DVDs and was a bit pricey at the one store where we found it, but the absolute best prices can be found through vendors on eBay. These two DVDs will continue to be our favorite gifts for young children and their families and when they are finally released on Blu-Ray in the USA we will be sure to buy them through an eBay vendor. Great kids DVD

Same creator as "Room on a Broom", which is in itself a great kids story. Storyline is great, teaches compassion and sharing. I bought this DVD because of the prequel, "The Gruffalo".

Not a great value for the money

Did not realize this video is only like 15 minutes long.....was thinking it was a full length movie for this price. I would not of purchased if I knew.
