The life of a miraculous woman

I lived in Holland in the 60's and met many people that lived through that war. I personally met Corrie Ten Boom when she came to speak at our church in Sacramento many years ago. I have been to the place that she was held captive.
The book is a moving, heartbreaking story of the truth of that war. She was saved by God to live to tell her story.
I have had this book a few times in my life and it is so worth reading and sharing with others.
I was so grateful to find it again and am reading it once more. I am 80 now and I have never forgotten this woman or her family.

I liked this book because it is a story that glorifies God and it was written through the eyes of a Christian woman. Corrie Ten Boom's story is filled with hope and tells about how God proved His faithfulness to the Ten Boom family as they commited themselves to find refuge for the persecuted Jew of WW II, and it tells the stories of those who sought the help of the Ten Booms, namely the Jews of Germany and Holland. I had seen the movie and thought this story, along with a Progeny Press guide, would be a good book to include into my homeschool curriculum. So far, I have not been disappointed.Read full review...
