The Last Man
Movie turned out to be not as good as I had expected. Bought because I like Jeri Ryan the actress. If I had it to do over I most likely would still buy it as it is comical and dumb.
The Last Man DVD with Jeri Ryan - her first movie
The DVD is in perfect shape, although the title page and info sheet are missing from inside the DVD case.
The movie played flawless. Was able to pause, and zoom with not problems.
This movie has a very deep story line that requires you to watch it at least twice to see and understand it thoroughly.
I recommend you watch the move once with the commentary off and then watch it again with the commentary on.
It is amazing what this director was able to accomplish on such a small budget.
His story tell is outstanding along with the camera work.
This is a movie that should be in all movie lovers collection. It is not a movie for the kids or one that can be watched in segments.
Harry Ralston has a realistic bordering on the surreal view of how our race would carry on and how the few who survive would act, interact, and react to changing social pressures.
I am waiting on his other move "Men Cry Bullets" which I hunted down and bought after watching "the Last Man".
This is a comedy after all, but has many human truths buried in it's satire and directorial visions.Read full review...
