Mid 80's sci-fi/adventure/comedy gem!

Sure, the (all computer) generated spaceship FX are pretty dodgy but "The Last Starfighter" is a seriously original/charming sci-fi effort and this new transfer of the film looks/sounds tops.

1984 movie with 1st use of CGI. Very entertaining Sci Fi adventure.

The title sounds very good.

The special effects are dazzling and excellent.
