Killer 20th anniversary edition of a classic album with new mix (1990) w/ guitars and vocals up louder. Was not sure about the extras-outtakes, demos and jams. Was glad they didn't clutter things up further with the aborted second album cuts finally released on Crossroads, and just kept it to the first album sessions. Thre is nothing that can be said that has not already been said about this landmark cd. In all fairness there may be to much for the casual fan. However for the true fan of both Clapton and Allman the two extra disc are proof that this duo was one of the best of all time. Great jams,alternate cuts. As we all know Layla and other assorted love songs is a classic.
This has ALL the tracks laid down with Eric , Duane and all the rest on this heavy session .
