Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon (Wii)
I was expecting this to be much like the Spyro games for Playstation 2. Much different. Same story, same dragon. Fairly good graphics. 3D style scenes. Very challenging game to play. Always tense, in battle or trying to make it across unsafe ground (or no ground). No easy sections to relax and enjoy just wondering around collecting stones or power ups. I'm not a hard core video game player, but my son-in-law is and even he gets frustrated getting through areas. Just no relief to the constant struggle to move forward in this game. Most games have level up difficulty and then give you areas where you can just enjoy playing around without heavy fighting or extreme effort to access the next part of the game. Seems each section and each level gets more and more hard to complete, game starts off difficult. Even getting through the training sequences is a feat leaving one tired and drained.
If you like a heavy, constant challenge, with no just for fun areas, then this game is for you. I don't recommend this one for young kids, unlike previous Spyro games. Just too difficult to kept a young kid interested. Teen and above.Read full review...
Fantastic Fantasy Game: The Legend of Spyro: Wii 2008
This game is really great since you can use TWO players instead of just one as in the older game versions. But it is rather hard so I wouldn't recommend it for children younger than 7. Graphics are excellent, and there are always surprises around every corner.
I really loved all the other older games but I love this one even more. Just have to get used to the controllers since they are a little more sensitive to movement than the older Ninetendo 2 and 3 controllers.
If you love fantasy games then this one is one you should consider buying.Read full review...
Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon for Wii
What I love about this game:
*The music, graphics, combat system and cutscenes were beautifully done.
*Both dragons are able to fly at long last.
*Both dragons have different abilities which gives nearly endless combat possibilities.
*The game is two player or Co-Op as some may call it.
What I dislike about this game:
*You have to have two Nunchucks for 2 player/Co-Op to be an option.
And, I bought it because I loved the previous game, The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night. Other than the Nunchuck issues I have no complaints about the game and most certainly satisfied with my purchase!
Overall however, I would definitely recommend this game for anyone who loves Spyro and has the Wii as their consule.Read full review...

This is a great and fun game.It has clear and creative settings. This game can be enjoyed by the whole family.You can now fly, breath fire, shoot ice crystals, and much more. You can also play with a partner too with two-player-mode. Playing with a friend makes this game way funner and more enjoyable.My family plays this game all the time and they just cant stop playing! I was an avid spyro player when these games first came out and always jumped at the opportunity to play them. Naturally I was excited to get the "final" chapter of the games for my wii. Unfortunately, though the game was fun to play, I was not as enthusiastic once I started. There are no longer portals, or fun ways to get health like roasting a lamb.... It is ultimately a two person game, it proves quite difficult with just one player. The story line is cute, but the navigation is close to impossible, and spyros powers harder to use. If you are expecting anything close to the old spyro games, beware, this is not it.Read full review...
Great Game
I got this game for my five year old and took it over. Its so much fun. Its a little hard for him deffinatly needs my help. Grafics are awesome and story line is entertaining.

Spyro review
I have the game for the xbox 360 just wanted to see what it was like for the Wii. I like it alot, you don't just sit there you have to get up and move around a little bit. Much more interactive than the xbox where you just sit there and move the buttons on the controller.Read full review...
