This is an Awesome book for Children as young as 6 months - 5 years old! the Bright, Colorful pictures capture the interest of even the very young infant, as well as allows the older, growing child to do more complex activities such as match up the tabs on the side of the book to quickly find which 'state of confusion' the Chameleon is in at each point of the story. it is also Very well written for Children, teaching them that even though they may THINK it may be 'better' to be someone other than theirselves; in the end, being the Special Person that YOU ARE is always BEST!! I highly recommend this book. it is a great tool for Parents & Grandparents or 'whoever' to spend some good, quality time with the special Child in their life :) it is also not too long which i also like because most young children do not have very long attention spans....this is one of those 'just right' books...a MUST GET for the Little Ones in your life!Read full review...

Adorable book!! Really cute and funny story that incorporates colors and use of imagination throughout the book. I bought this for my 3 year old grandson and he really likes it, as does his 4 1/2 year old sister. The colors are bright and cheery with good illustrations. Great children's book by Eric Carle

My son loves this book for it's great colors and illustrations and because as each page is turned, the new animal whose feature the chameleon takes is shown, so at the end, all the animals are shown at the edge of the page.
