Should be required reading as soon as you have chronic pain

You really wouldn't think that a book on managing pain can be very good. But the way the book is laid out, the size and content of the chapters makes this a very good read. I am more than half done and already told someone they will have to read it when I am done... (too bad you can't do that with an ebook)

tip .. Use a highlighter. I plan to keep coming back to this book when life seems to be slipping away. As has been the case every few months

Common newer approach to pain management

This book was recommended by my pain management doctor. These are some pretty theories, exercises, and helpful techniques. It is a good place to start your journey to pain control. But don't stop here. Pain management is evolving rapidly and some aspects of this book are falling behind.

If you are not good at being honest with yourself or keeping a journey and completing written exercises, this book is not for you.
